This notice explains what we collect through this site, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Your first name, email address and a record of your signup. When you submit the form, we collect the first name and email address you enter, and a record of the signup, such as the notice version shown at the time and the date.
Your planner choices are not saved. The planner runs in your own browser. The days, activity ideas and time-of-day choices you make on that page are not sent to us and are not stored — reloading the page starts fresh. We never see what you select, and the resources we email are the same for everyone.
Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include. Please don't send sensitive information we don't need.
Technical information. Our hosting, DNS, security and email providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as an IP address, browser or device details, the pages requested and the time of a request.
How we use it
- to email the planner and the planning and observation kit you requested;
- to send the email series described at the form, and to honour unsubscribe requests;
- to reply to messages you send us;
- to run, secure and troubleshoot the site; and
- to meet legal obligations and keep the records needed to respect your choices.
We do not build a profile of you from what you do on this site.
The emails you receive
Submitting the form is a single opt-in: we begin sending after your submission is accepted, and there is no separate confirmation step. You receive the planner and the printable planning and observation kit you asked for, followed by a short series of practical emails with tips and advertisements for Brain Training for Dogs. The series then stops. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we will stop sending when you use it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your email address, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
We use service providers to run this funnel, and they process information only to provide their services to us:
- systeme.io — our email and contact-management provider. It processes your email address, first name and signup record so we can send the emails you requested.
- Cloudflare — provides website delivery, DNS and related security services for houndandmind.com.
- Our receiving mailbox provider — messages sent to our contact address are forwarded to a mailbox we use to read and answer them.
Affiliate links. Some links on this site and in our emails are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we may earn a commission from the seller. Clicking a link may take you through ClickBank and on to a seller's website, which is controlled by that third party and has its own terms, privacy notice and cookies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Cookies and tracking
Our email provider's form may set cookies or similar technologies when it loads, to make the form work and to record your submission.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising tools on this site, and we do not track visitors across other websites. If we add those tools, we will update this notice before they take effect. Because we do not currently engage in cross-site tracking, we do not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work as well if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address, first name and signup record while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only the minimum information needed to make sure we don't email you again. We keep messages you send us for as long as needed to deal with them, and we keep technical logs only as long as our providers need them for security and operations.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email [email protected]. We honour opt-out requests promptly.
- Access, correction or deletion. Email [email protected] and tell us what you want. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we may keep information where the law requires it.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security and where information is processed
We use service providers that apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our providers may process or store information outside your state or outside the United States.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The "Effective date" above shows when this version took effect. We will post the updated notice on this page.
